Hello everyone,
A few quick updates for you.
First off, we wanted to congratulate Lillian Truong, Dr. Truong’s niece, on her acceptance into optometry school at Southern California College of Optometry! She had her white coat ceremony early this month! Many of you have worked with her before, as she has been an office assistant and dispensary assistant for several years now at our office. She has repeatedly demonstrated her talent and expertise in finding the perfect pair of glasses for our patients, and we are so excited to see her pursue optometry as her profession. Keep an eye out for her in the coming years, as she will be rejoining us soon as a practicing optometrist here at Peninsula Optometry!
Next up: We will be announcing our official Grand Opening Special Event shortly. There will be a great special all day long on our entire selection of frames in stock. Frame representatives from several lines will also be present to showcase their entire frame selections for you to choose from. Stay tuned for more details!
Our last update is in regards to our “Buy A Pair, Gift A Pair” program: Our current project will be to send donation glasses to Vietnam. Instead of ordering the glasses for donation here, and then shipping them to Vietnam (thus, incurring additional fees in shipping, customs, etc. and subsequently reducing the number of glasses we can donate), we found a partner to purchase locally for us within Vietnam, allowing us to save on shipping and customs fees, yet still provide the gift of sight for people in need.
